The first picture is my runt of a hanging basket. It'll get better, bigger, prettier, more colorful etc. Planting day was a bit of a disappointment this year. Next year it'll be better. The second picture is from my front yard. I am loving the lilacs. I can sit in the sun room with all the windows open and smell them when the breezes come our way. Life is good!
